BSAR Open House BBQ - June 5, 2010

Cooking up a storm - BSAR members Mike Riley and Gubby Samuelson cook up a mean dish of hamburgers and hotdogs over hot grilling pits for the public during BSAR's Open House BBQ in June 2010.

BSAR chow down - BSAR members, their families, friends and the general public enjoy a meal put on by BSAR volunteers in celebration of the opening of their new headquarters in Bethel.

Good friends and food - Well wishers and supporters streamed in and through the building and food line to enjoy a treat at BSAR's new digs. BSAR had been "homeless" before and finally got a State grant (thanks to then-Rep. Mary Kapsner and Sen. Lyman Hoffman) to help pay for and build the HQ.

What a day - Mike Riley and Gubby Samuelson take a breather from grilling some of the best hot dogs and hamburgers in Bethel for visitors that came to the BSAR Open House BBQ. The HQ is located across from the Yupiit Piciryarait Cultural Center.
